Nari Ward: “Great Expectation”

Watch artist Nari Ward explain his work Great Expectation, which was on view in Spots, Dots, Pips, Tiles: An Exhibition About Dominoes.

Ward is an artist based in New York city. His work mostly consists of objects he found in his neighborhood, and circles around the themes of consumer culture, poverty, and race.

Ward’s work was previously shown at PAMM in the exhibition Nari Ward: Sun Splashed, the largest survey of the artist’s work to date.
